A Little Boy's Lunch Feeds a Crowd
The Story
John 6:1-15
A huge crowd of over 5,000 people had been listening to Jesus teach all day. It was getting late and everyone was hungry. The disciples had a problem — how do you feed that many people?
Andrew found a young boy who had a small lunch: five small loaves of bread and two little fish. Not exactly a feast for thousands!
Jesus took the boy's small lunch, looked up to heaven, and thanked God for it. Then He began breaking it apart and giving it to the disciples to hand out.
Somehow, the food kept coming! Everyone ate until they were completely full. When it was over, the disciples collected 12 baskets full of leftover pieces. A miracle had happened with one boy's willingness to share!
What Can We Learn?
Give What You Have
The boy only had a small lunch, but he gave it to Jesus anyway. Give God what you have!
Jesus Multiplies Your Gift
Jesus took a tiny gift and made it HUGE. He can do the same with anything you offer Him.
Always Be Thankful
Jesus thanked God before the miracle happened. Gratitude unlocks miracles!
Generosity Blesses Everyone
One boy's generosity fed thousands of people. Your giving blesses more people than you know!
